The Junior Medallion Experience
The Junior Medallion Experience introduces young women to the spirit of St. Lucy’s through service and friendship.
Participants begin serving their communities at the end of their eighth-grade year with the goal of completing 150 hours of volunteer service by the end of their junior year of high school.
Along the way, St. Lucy’s offers opportunities to connect and grow in friendship and service, such as:
-
Reconnect, reflect, and create lasting memories together! Our Mother-Daughter Retreat offers a peaceful and uplifting morning designed for meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and fun activities. Participants enjoy guided sessions, hands-on projects, and opportunities for faith and fellowship—all while building stronger bonds that will last a lifetime.
-
Grace, confidence, and presence for every occasion. St. Lucy’s Etiquette Seminar is more than manners—it’s an experience designed to help young women shine in social settings. Participants learn practical skills, gain confidence, and leave with a sense of accomplishment, all within a warm and supportive environment.
-
Serve, connect, and make a difference! Our Pop-Up Volunteer Days take place at VisAbility, where volunteers work alongside the visually impaired and learn about everything that happens on the VisAbility campus. These hands-on projects help participants develop awareness, empathy, and meaningful connections while lending a hand to an organization that St. Lucy’s proudly supports. It’s a rewarding way to give back, learn, and engage with our community.
-
Gather, learn, and celebrate together. This fall luncheon brings mothers, daughters, and members together for a warm and inspiring event where participants meet fellow families, learn about the Medallion program, and enjoy meaningful conversation and shared experiences. This special event fosters community, introduces program traditions, and celebrates the Medallion journey.
